Keto Bacon Brussel Sprouts

This can be a side dish or the main course. Brussel Sprouts are great any time of year. Pair with ribs, burgers, roast chicken, or grilled pork chops. It’s one of the most perfect foods for nutrients and detoxing. 

 

Ingredients:

1/2 lb of uncured apple smoked bacon

1 clove of garlic

1/2 red onion, chopped

2 cups Brussel Sprouts halved

Lemon Pepper (Lunds & Byerlys)

Salt to taste

Parmesan cheese

 

Directions:

Over medium heat, saute bacon till it starts to become clear. Add a clove of garlic and chopped onion sautéing for another 3 minutes.

Add Brussel sprouts and sprinkle with Lemon Pepper. Sauté until just tender. Do not overcook. Overcooking causes Brussel Sprouts to be bitter.

Serve immediately with shredded fresh Parmesan cheese.
